About Shelley Anderson

Shelley Anderson has more than 30 years experience as a professional vocal coach, singer and actress, appearing in many productions, most notably as Josephine in the operetta HMS Pinafore at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, DC.

She also appeared on the daytime drama, Days of Our Lives, in the 1980s, and was a regular as the National Anthem singer for the Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Kings.

Her work behind the scenes include being an executive assistant to these people:

  • booking agent,
  • film producer,
  • repertory theatre manager,
  • president of a major record label,
  • and,  as personal executive assistant to author and self-help guru, Louise L. Hay from 1998 to 2015.

A member of the Association of Celebrity Personal Assistants (ACPA) since 2001, she served as their President from 2005-2007.

Dealing With Divas was published by iUniverse. The book includes letters from Shelley’s popular Hollywood column, “Miss Know it All” – excerpts which can be read on this site.
